ONIX OC93 was designed as a companion piece for the ONIX OIA92 integrated amplifier.
Build in a matching form factor, offering an improved digital section based around higher
performing AKM chipset and adding the capabilities of CD player and fully independent
streamer.
CD Player & DAC
Based around the AKM AK4497EQ DAC, with the Cirrus Logic CS8416 digital receiver, ONIX
OC93 provides a High-End sound quality using the Philips CDM4 drive mechanic or one of its
many digital inputs. Apart from the standard combination of coaxial, optical and AES/EBU,
OC93 comes equipped with a top-performing XMOS XU216 USB input, for easy connection to
any computer and Hi-Res playback up to 32 bit / 768 kHz & DSD256.
Streamer
The build-in 7-inch touch screen gives you access to the in-house developed Android based
system. Providing easy way to all your favourite music, no matter if stored on USB drives,
local NAS or one of the Streaming services. Wireless connectivity also enables a simple
streaming over Airplay, DLNA or Bluetooth 5.0. All easily controlled directly from phone or
tablet through our Eddict player app.
